What does forgiveness sound like? For Oakland middle schoolers in our Yeah, Art! spoken word workshop, it sounded raw, honest, and deeply personal. Their poetry was featured at the Oakland Symphony.

Students at Best Buy Teen Tech Centers took on a bold challenge: design the next Microsoft Surface tablet cover. In this hands-on workshop, young creatives learned digital illustration skills that could help launch their design careers.

What if your drawing could jump off the page? At Montclair Elementary, our students used 3D augmented reality to bring their dream worlds to life — narrating, animating, and designing their own stories from scratch.

We partnered with Generation Thrive and The Warriors Community Foundation to host a “Paint & Sip”-inspired experience with a futuristic twist.

We’re partnering with Freely In Hope to support Pendo’s Power, a children’s book that prevents sexual abuse. Pendo’s Power teaches age-appropriate concepts about consent, body autonomy, safe touch, and the power of their voice.

Yeah, Art! just wrapped our first semester of our three-year commitment at Roosevelt Middle School. Our Big Kids led Vocal Performance, Songwriting and Music Production workshops 2-4x/week for the budding young artists at Roosevelt.
