Yeah, Art! Supports 826 Valencia Nonprofit

Last weekend, Yeah, Art! had the privilege of supporting fellow nonprofit 826 Valencia in its annual Storytellers’ Showcase at Yerba Buena Gardens.

Students from 826 Valencia’s writing programs in schools and in the Mission, Tenderloin, and Mission Bay joined to read their original writing for their families and community.

826 Valencia is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting under-resourced students with their creative and expository writing skills and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. They believe strong writing skills are fundamental to success.

Yeah, Art! was proud to support 826 Valencia’s spring event by tabling with our “It Was All A Dream student art project, and an inclusive coloring station for the little ones.

The event featured face painting, a free books giveaway and live music from Bay Area band Tall Tee.
