Yeah, Art! Students Just Made History on the Tallest Building in San Francisco
Through Sky’s The Limit, a seven-week digital illustration pilot from Yeah, Art!, K–5 students at Redwood Heights Elementary learned creative technology fundamentals including pixels, masking and layering. Each student created an original planet in Microsoft Paint, which was then animated into a collaborative piece displayed atop Salesforce Tower.
With its debut, our students became the youngest artists ever to have their work featured on the building.
This partnership gave young artists more than a chance to learn new skills. It showed them that their ideas belong on the biggest possible stages. When students see their work presented on a platform this visible, they raise their own expectations for what they can create and where their creativity can take them.
Sky’s The Limit reflects what Yeah, Art! is working to bring into more Bay Area classrooms: tech-forward arts education that builds confidence, expands access to creative tools and introduces young people to potential careers across art and technology.
